Winter sales in Spain start with big discounts!

After the Christmas festivities, shopping lovers have an additional reason to celebrate: the start of the long-awaited winter sales campaign. This event, marked by significant discounts on a wide variety of products, is traditionally awaited by those looking to take advantage of more affordable prices on fashion, technology and household goods.

Although start dates used to vary among the major chains, the general trend this year is for the sales to begin in the first week of January, specifically from 7 January 2024, after the Three Kings Day holiday. However, some brands, such as those belonging to the Tendam group (Cortefiel, Springfield, Pedro del Hierro and Women's Secret), H&M and Bimba & Lola, have not waited and have already launched their discounts from 28 December.

On the fashion scene, Mango is expected to start its sales on 2 January, while the Inditex group brands (Zara, Lefties, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Bershka, Zara Home and Stradivarius) will carry them out on 6 January online and on 7 January in physical shops. Sfera and Uniqulo will officially start on 7 January, and consumers will be able to find discounts both in shops and online.

Department store giant El Corte Inglés will follow tradition, starting its sales on 7 January, although members may receive early promotions. Shoppers can anticipate attractive offers even days before the official date, especially on selected items.
