Estrella Galicia as the Best Spanish Beer according to the British Press

According to a recent article in *The Telegraph*, Estrella Galicia has been selected as the best Spanish beer, an assessment also shared by *The Sun*. Both British publications highlight the appeal and distinctive taste of this Galician beer, describing it as a drink that ‘evokes memories of holidays in Spain’.

*The Telegraph* points out that Spanish beers, particularly lagers, are appreciated for their lightness and thirst quenching ability in hot climates. In the case of Estrella Galicia, the UK version is brewed without the Sladek hops, which gives it an attractive herbal aroma and a fruity bite, along with a satisfying bitterness.

Second on the list is Mahou Cinco Estrellas, one of Spain's most popular brands, valued for its rich texture and herbal flavour with woody notes. In third position is the Mallorcan Rosa Blanca, described as a fresh and perfumed beer.

In the following positions are Victoria Málaga, Estrella Damm and Cruzcampo, while the beers Madrí Excepcional and San Miguel close the list.

This recognition underlines the growing appreciation of Spanish beers in the UK, where they are increasingly sought after to accompany moments of enjoyment and relaxation, evoking the spirit of Spanish holidays.
